Private Barrel Program and Bottling Experience

Brought to you by VicBob’s BEST, New Heritage Distilling offers the opportunity to customize a 10-gallon oak barrel! These private barrels are perfect for your club, retirement, wedding, or military recognition.

~The Barrel

Brand new 10-gallon American white oak barrel char number 3
Custom laser etched design on one end of your custom barrel
Custom front label for your personal bottles
Choice of maple syrup moonshine or applejack to fill your barrel
Aged at 120 proof for the best flavor

~The Aging

Initial aging for a new barrel is 18 months
Barrel is topped off at the 10-month mark to compensate for the “angel’s share”
After aging at 120 proof, your liquor will be proofed using local limestone spring water to your choice of final bottling proof
Come in to taste test the progress of your barrel at any time!

~The Experience

Bring your entire group for your personal barrel extraction process and bottling experience
You choose the final proof for your bottling between 80 to 100 proof (40%-50% ABV)
Expect between 50 to 70 bottles, depending on the final proof selected for bottling
Light refreshments will be provided during barrel extraction and bottling experience

Only $6,000 + tax for private barrel, barrel extraction process & bottling experience
A $2,000 + tax non-refundable deposit is due upon contract signing
Ready to re-fill your barrel? We can do that for $5,600 + tax

Barrel and its contents are property of New Heritage Distilling, LLC until product is bottled and paid for in full. Contract signing and all payments/deposits must be made in person, no exceptions. We will not fill other private barrels. Take home all your filled bottles and empty barrel with you!
